As one of the oldest genres of the literature of the world, poetry is a favorite genre among many people who are aficionados of art, beauty, literary techniques and so many other features in literary works. Therefore, the libraries and bookstores are filled with many poetry anthologies to provide the readers of this genre with needed materials. However, majority of the poetry books in different countries, especially Iran, usually focus on literary classics and famous poets of the past. This is why the sources for poetical works of modern and contemporary poets are not in abundance and so the avid readers of poetry usually complain about the lack of newer materials in the stores and libraries and they cannot quench their passionate thirst for more recent poems. As a result, we decided to choose a number of significant contemporary poets and selected some of their crucial and well-known poems in a single collection so that any person who wants to read contemporary poetry can access various poets and poems in an anthology.

Anthony Robbins Awaken the Giant
For changes to be of any true value, they've got to be lasting and consistent. We've all experienced change for a moment, only to feel let down and disappointed in the end. In fact, many people attempt change with a sense of fear and dread because unconsciously they believe the changes will only be temporary. A prime example of this is someone who needs to begin dieting, but finds himself putting it off, primarily because he unconsciously knows that whatever pain he endures in order to create the change will bring him only a short-term reward. For most of my life I've pursued what I consider to be the organizing principles of lasting change, and you'll learn many of these and how to utilize them in the pages that follow. But for now, I'd like to share with you three elementary principles of change that you and I can use immediately to change our lives. While these principles are simple, they are also extremely powerful when they are skillfully applied. These are the exact same changes that an individual must make in order to create personal change, that a company must make in order to maximize its potential, and that a country must make in order to carve out its place in the world. Infact, as a world community these are the changes that we all must make to preserve the quality of life around the globe.

Angela Duckworth Grit The Power
Growing up, I heard the word genius a lot.
It was always my dad who brought it up. He liked to say, apropos of nothing at all, “You know, you’re no genius!” This pronouncement might come in the middle of dinner, during a commercial break for The Love Boat, or after he flopped down on the couch with the Wall Street Journal. I don’t remember how I responded. Maybe I pretended not to hear. My dad’s thoughts turned frequently to genius, talent, and who had more than whom. He was deeply concerned with how smart he was. He was deeply concerned with how smart his family was. I wasn’t the only problem. My dad didn’t think my brother and sister were geniuses, either. By his yardstick, none of us measured up to Einstein. Apparently, this was a great disappointment. Dad worried that this intellectual handicap would limit what we’d eventually achieve in life. Two years ago, I was fortunate enough to be awarded a MacArthur Fellowship, sometimes called the “genius grant.” You don’t apply for the MacArthur. You don’t ask your friends or colleagues to nominate you.
Instead, a secret committee that includes the top people in your field decides you’re doing important and creative work.
When I received the unexpected call telling me the news, my first reaction was one of gratitude and amazement. Then my thoughts turned to my dad and his offhand diagnoses of my intellectual potential. He wasn’t wrong; I didn’t win the MacArthur because I’m leagues smarter than my fellow psychologists. Instead, he had the right answer (“No, she’s not”) to the wrong question (“Is she a genius?”).

NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON Astrophysics for People in a Hurry
In recent years, no more than a week goes by without news of a cosmic discovery worthy of banner headlines. While media gatekeepers may have developed an interest in the universe, this rise in coverage likely comes from a genuine increase in the public’s appetite for science. Evidence for this abounds, from hit television shows inspired or informed by science, to the success of science fiction films starring marquee actors, and brought to the screen by celebrated producers and directors. And lately, theatrical release iopics featuring important scientists have become a genre unto itself. There’s also widespread interest around the world in science festivals, science fiction conventions, and science documentaries for television.
The highest grossing film of all time is by a famous director who set his story on a planet orbiting a distant star. And it features a famous actress who plays an astrobiologist. While most branches of science have ascended in this era, the field of astrophysics persistently rises to the top. I think I know why. At one time or another every one of us has looked up at the night sky and wondered: What does it all mean? How does it all work? And, what is my place in the universe?
If you’re too busy to absorb the cosmos via classes, textbooks, or documentaries, and you nonetheless seek a brief but meaningful introduction to the field, I offer you Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. In this slim volume, you will earn a foundational fluency in all the major ideas and discoveries that drive our modern understanding of the universe. If I’ve succeeded, you’ll be culturally conversant in my field of expertise, and you just may be hungry for more.

Chocolates and Confections Formula
The history of American confections follows a route parallel to that of many other traditional foods: born of artisans, adopted by regional producers, and captured by manufacturers. With each step in this process, the products tend to lose a little bit of their identity, becoming less unique, less diverse, more anonymous, and further removed from their artisan and geographic roots. Up until the early twentieth century, artisan foods were made by skilled craftspeople in small family-owned businesses in every town and village, with the trade handed down from generation to generation or learned through apprenticeship. Bread bakers, brewers, cheese makers, and, of course, confectioners produced relatively small quantities of fresh, unique products for their customers, who were also their neighbors. This is the tradition of artisan confectionery. Improvements in automation and transportation led to the rise of regional confectioners who prepared unique specialties in larger quantities with the aid of machinery and who distributed their products throughout a larger area than local artisan confectioners could supply. However, these regional confectioners still made candy that was traditional to the location and distributed it within that area, thereby contributing to the food culture of the region. Some examples of these products are pralines in the southern United States, sponge candy in western New York State, fudge throughout the Midwest, taffy at the seashore, buckeyes in Ohio, and maple candies in New England.

The Iran Nuclear Deal
At the start of each class that I teach at Penn State, I tell the students there are two things that they should know about me. First, that I grew up in New Mexico. Second, that I spent 28 years in the State Department before spending the last 17 as an academic. I then explain the significance of those two facts. First, that there is nothing bad they can say about Texas that I won’t believe. Second, that as a professor of social science at a large, public, northeastern university and a former career bureaucrat, the chances that I am politically liberal and believe there is an important role for government are both in the neighborhood of 99 percent.

Studies in Continental Thought
This book is a translation of Platon: Sophistes, which was published in 1992 as volume 19 of Heidegger's Gesamtausgabe (Collected Works). The text is a reconstruction of the author's lecture course delivered under the same title at the University of Marburg in the winter semester 1924-25. The course was devoted to an interpretation of both Plato, especially his late dialogue, the Sophist, and Aristotle, especially Book VI of the Nicomachean Ethics. It is one of Heidegger's major works, because of its intrinsic importance as an interpretation of ancient philosophy and also on account of its relation to Being and Time.
